3G Shows: Entertaining Three Generations

Two-time Tony award-winning producer Ken Davenport recently credited Megan Ann with the idea of “3G” shows.

He goes on to speak about the 3x impact; that three generations means three different audiences.

Here are Ken’s recommendations:

  1. Material appropriate for all generations — reduce the amount of swearing.

  2. Create awareness of the IP — work to make it timeless.

  3. Have characters that everyone can identify with — let them see themselves.
