One of the best feelings as a producer is watching a new talent find their wings and soar! This is Gwenny Govea, a powerful and important new voice hitting the stage. She wrote the book, music, and lyrics for SPELLS OF THE SEA and sings the title number!

Even better…this song was written just days before as we finished our workshop at Pegasus PlayLab.

I’m so excited for what lies ahead for Gwenny. The World Premiere of SPELLS OF THE SEA will be February 5, 2023 with Metro Theater Company’s celebratory 50th Anniversary. I can’t wait!
